Yoga is a practice that has been around for thousands of years,and it is as relevant to our modern day problems as it is possible. The stress accumulated from your day-to-day life not only affects your mental functioning but also our body. Noticed that sore shoulder that has been bugging you for the past week? It is probably because your muscles have been tensed too long. A little yoga can help you relax and reset, here are a few poses to help you-

1. Child’s Pose (Balasana)

Sit back on your heels and stretch your arms out in front of you, placing your forehead on the mat. 4. Legs-Up-The-Wall Pose (Viparita Karani)

Legs-up-the-wall pose is a restorative yoga pose that can help you relax and de-stress. To perform this pose, lie down on your back with your hips close to a wall. Swing your legs up the wall and relax your arms at your sides. Close your eyes and breathe deeply, feeling the release in your lower back and legs.

5. Corpse Pose (Savasana)

Corpse pose is the ultimate relaxation pose in yoga, and it’s great for reducing stress and anxiety. Lie down on your back with your arms at your sides and your palms facing up. Close your eyes and breathe deeply, allowing your body to completely relax. Stay in this pose for several minutes, focusing on the feeling of peace and calm in your body and mind.
